Rules

The Losing Lulu Facebook Group has rules, and we hold them dear. Rules set the tone for the group. They keep the community safe. They convey what is expected of the members and the things they can post/not post in the community.

Here are the rules:

1.        #keepitkind

Be kind in your reading. Be kind in your writing. Provide support & empathy. Behave with compassion & respect with each other. No judgement or second guessing is tolerated.

2.        Do not discuss living potential Lulus

We cannot discuss living animals who may be euthanized for behaviour, even if the decision/appointment is made. We have resources in Files & encourage you to contact modmin for assistance/support.

3.        Do not blame, shame or name

You can express emotion relating to your specific experience; please don't generalise against or specify things like where you got your Lulu, previous owners, related professions, or training methods.

4. Frame posts/comments "for you"

Frame posts/comments using the phrases "for me" or "I feel" to remind us we are reading your unique experience & avoid unintentional painful comparisons (eg children, mental illness, grief stages).

5.        Shares & external links must be vetted by modmin

Shares & links including blogs, podcasts, videos, webinars, courses, Pages, other Groups, etc, will be vetted by modmin; comments with unapproved links may be removed & pending posts may be declined.

6.        #keepitsafe

Regardless of intent, sharing screenshots, stories, comments, any content (even without identifying info) outside the group, or any doxing attempt, may result in immediate removal from the group.

7. Do not post graphic content

Please do not post graphic images or descriptions, including injuries to humans or other animals.

8.     Support the culture

If in doubt, use the ‘report to admin’ function, or PM/tag a modmin. Please do not burden members with, for example, PM requests or seeking backup on posts outside Losing Lulu.

9.     Modmins reserve the right to moderate

These rules cannot cover all possibilities but if there is an issue outside of these rules, we will do our best to explain the reasons for the moderation decision.

10.     No 3D pictures

Please, due to the visual & neurological impact they can have on many members, do not use 3D images in this group.
