LOSING LULU SUMMIT 2026
The world’s first FREE summit, dedicated to all aspects of Behavioural Euthanasia. Scheduled to begin on April 19, 2026, the Losing Lulu Summit will feature sessions dedicated to making the decision, the days leading up to the euthanasia, grief and grieving, memorializing your Lulu and the research being done to date looking at behavioural euthanasia.
The Losing Lulu Summit is a series of online presentations that you can watch from the comfort of your own home, and ask questions in the chat. There is no charge to watch the presentations in real time, and if you would like to watch the presentations at a later time or again, there will be the opportunity to purchase a full access package. Each presentation will be delivered online twice in the same day so that people in time zones from around the world will be able to watch live.
Who is organizing this summit?
The Losing Lulu Summit 2026 is being hosted and organized by Sue Alexander CPDT-KSA, CBCC-KA, CDBC. Sue is also supported by a team of talented individuals who are providing consulting resources, organizational support and logistical assets, both paid and volunteer.
We are in the early phase of the planning process and we are looking for your help!
In order to deliver the BEST summit possible, we need to have some incredible speakers. Do you know someone who might be a great guest? We are asking our members to nominate people they know to speak. If you nominate someone, we will consider them, and approach those people we think might be suitable. Do you know someone who is a grief counsellor who was especially helpful? Or is there someone in your local shelter who does a particularly good job of evaluating behaviours of the animals they are working with? How about a veterinarian who is particularly good at working with clients who are making the hardest choice? We need to know about all of these people. The more nominations we get, the better our summit will be!
You can nominate someone by filling in the form below.
